Bruce Jenner did Khloe's nails, and any day now, will be living as a woman

Sunday night, the Kardashians finally confronted that issue of Bruce Jenner.

He told Diane Sawyer that he's transitioning into a woman. To date, his family's E! reality show has been coy about the news.

Granted, dollar bills are at stake, and Kris Jenner, mom, manager and producer, is very aware of bank balances. Can't fault her for milking this news to the max. There were tears. Hugs. More tears. More hugs.

Sunday night, in a special two-part episode called Keeping Up with the Kardashians: About Bruce, they handled it.

Newsflash: Bruce Jenner is going to live publicly as a woman as soon as this spring (which is, like, now), he has had additional plastic surgery, and his kids, in particular Khloe, ask the hard questions.

It all sort of felt like old hat. particularly after that Sawyer tell-some.

Here's what we learned:

Bruce plans on living life as a woman sometime very, very soon.

Khloe asks the burning question, whether Bruce plans on not being Bruce sometime soon. "That's quite possible, yeah," he tells her. "Probably in the spring (is when Bruce will be gone)." That would be -- now.

The family wasn't aware that he would be speaking to Sawyer.

"He's going to tell his full story," Kim tells her sisters. She breaks down over the impact all this is having on her mom. Also, Kim was afraid to tell Kanye. Who wound up being supportive.

Khloe buys Jenner shoes.

Red stilettos, to be exact. She brings him prezzies but doesn't know "her taste" yet, she tells him. Funnily enough, neither does he. "I'm fine with him dressing as a woman. I want Bruce to be happy," says Khloe. She and Bruce have the same heels now. "You are so sweet," says Bruce. And scene.

Supermodel daughter Kendall Jenner felt bad that her dad had to sneak around.

He told all the kids separately and alone, she revealed. But first, growing up: "We would find things like makeup or like lipstick and we thought he was having an affair. We didn't want our family to be broken up so we wouldn't tell anybody."

Kim Kardashian has kept this secret for over a decade, she says.

They dance around whether Bruce will "fully" become a woman. Presumably, this means whether he's undergoing a complete sex change. "A few more little tweaks and then I'm kind of done with that," he told Kim, referring we think to his facial surgery, never specifically answering that other question.

Kris Jenner is confused and trying to be understanding and accepting.

It's hard going, she tells Kim. "I have these memories of this life and I feel sometimes it didn't exist."

Yes, the new Bruce has left the house and no one has noticed.

He's gone to the movies a a woman -- and no one is the wiser. "I have had wigs," said Jenner.

Extra tidbit: Bruce does his own nails and makeup.

"I did Khloe's toes one time," he told Kim. File under: Who knew.
