Sam Smith gives hilarious "speech" ENTIRELY with cue cards

Your favorite blue-eyed soul singer Sam Smith was forced to cancel a slew of tour dates after suffering a vocal hemorrhage last month.

But that didn't stop him from accepting the award for top male artist at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night. Calling in from New York, where he's recovering from vocal-cord surgery, Smith used cue cards to thank his fans and give adorable shout-outs to Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj and Ed Sheeran.
"First, thank you, Billboard, for this incredible (honor).

Secondly, thank you to my amazing fans. It's times like this that I (realize) how lucky I am to have you in my life. Can't wait to get this surgery out of the way so I can sing my ass off for you again.

And lastly, seeing as you guys are in Vegas, Taylor ... put a 100 on black for me. :) Nicki ... Oh .. My ... God ... Look at her bum! And Ed ... I've (organized) a special dance for you at Chippendales.
