If Stefon from 'SNL' reviewed 'Mad Men'
The Paste BN crew has had the Mad Men series finale on the brain for weeks now, and now that we're hours away from the last episode, we're getting a little punchy.
We got to wondering how Stefon, Bill Hader's city correspondent from Saturday Night Live, would describe the show's ad agency, Sterling Cooper/Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce/Sterling Cooper & Partners (pick whichever edition of the company name you prefer) if he thought it was a nightclub.
We think Stefon's review would go a little something like this ...
New York's hottest club is Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce. It's located in the scarred remains of a 1960s ad man's liver. The bouncer is an abandoned Irish setter, and the password is "Duck, you suck."
This place has everything:
Sharpshooter housewives
Valuable paintings featuring oral sex acts with an octopus
Upper-middle class executives taking their first hits of LSD
That weird kid who gets in only because his dad owns the joint
