Amy Schumer is WAY too obsessed with her dog in new sketch

We all know that one person — the dog mom or dad who's a little too into their pet. Last night's Inside Amy Schumer nailed the craziness of obsessive dog owners, from medications to diets to wild adoption backstories.

In the skit, Schumer drops off her beloved pup (who can only eat grass-fed bison) at doggy daycare and hangs out with two other dog moms, their conversation slowly spiraling into sheer insanity.

Turns out, all their dogs are heavily medicated for strange mental health disorders. Maybe it should be the other way around?

The skit gets surprisingly political, as one woman (played by SNL alum/national treasure Rachel Dratch) tells the tale of snatching her greyhound from a child during Hurricane Katrina — "And I just thought, 'That little orphan boy can't take care of a dog!'" — while the other mom's dog lots its legs "when a cop shot him in St. Louis."

And then there's a rescue corgi that was a child soldier in the Sudan...and is gay.

All that skit needed was one Insta-famous dog with a camera crew, and it would've been perfect.
