Karlie Kloss wore flats, yes flats, to the biggest night in fashion, Monday’s CFDA awards.

It’s just not done. At least, not in Cannes. But she did it. Granted, it helps that Taylor Swift’s BFF is, like, 9 feet tall.

We asked her about the footwear choice. She stood behind it.
“I think flats are the most chic thing you can wear on the red carpet because it takes extra confidence. I think it’s all about how you wear it. Flats are a lot more comfortable, too.”
