Mark Wahlberg's 'Entourage' red carpet look? A T-shirt and athletic tape

Entourage's Ari Gold would not approve of Mark Wahlberg's premiere ensemble.

The raging agent played by Jeremy Piven in the HBO show and movie has emphasized the importance of looking good at movie premieres. On the series, Gold has told his actor, Vincent Chase-- a character loosely based on Mark Wahlberg-- that stars send an important message to fans in the way they present themselves on the red carpet.

At the Entourage premiere in Los Angeles, however, the franchise's producer Wahlberg didn't seem to care about messaging. He didn't walk with a date, he didn't shave, he didn't put on a suit and he didn't put away his headphones.

Wahlberg told Paste BN on the red carpet, "I have 20-something years in the game. I don’t have to dress up."
Wahlberg wore a T-shirt, jeans, sneakers and athletic tape on the arm that he's "rehabbing," he says. No glam squad for this star.
"It's really about the ('Entourage') guys, anyway," says Wahlberg.
