Ed Sheeran's lyrics are full of tender admissions of love and pleas for affection, meticulously crafted to make grown men cry.

But Jimmy Fallon doesn't care, and did his own rendition of Thinking Out Loud on last night's Nonsense Karaoke segment — with entirely gibberish verses.

After guests Denis Leary and Molly Shannon performed their nonsense songs (Pour Some Sugar On Me and Waterfalls, respectively), Fallon took the stage to butcher Sheeran's touching lyrics about "loving you 'til we're 70" and "thinking 'bout how people fall in love in mysterious ways," instead singing about Mr. T, Steve Urkel and feeding guys with his feet.

And depending on how you feel about Sheeran's heart-on-his-sleeve music, you may enjoy this version...better?
