Colin Jost's epic Twitter rant proves even celebs have trouble setting up their cable
Setting up cable is the worst. There's no way around it. It takes forever, it's frustrating and sometimes it just doesn't work. And it's the same for everyone, even celebrities.
SNL's Weekend Update co-host Colin Jost went on an epic Twitter rant Wednesday night over his problems with Time Warner Cable, which he apparently could not set up after he spent four months talked to at least 25 customer service reps. His situation is so bad that apparently one time a TWC cable guy that came by to try to fix it told him to change companies. During his Wednesday night rant he encouraged all of his followers to switch to Verizon FIOS and even offered $50 to anyone who did. And, as always happens on Twitter, things got even better when Time Warner Cable's customer service account got involved. Read and enjoy (some tweets omitted for NSFW language):
An intervention from the Time Warner account did nothing to stop the jokes:
This, perhaps, is the greatest tweet of them all, in response to TWC's request that he follow their account:
Their response tried to be chill, but failed:
In addition to his own tweets, Jost also retweeted a slew from other users who were equally as annoyed with TWC. That is a man on a mission. Here's to hoping we never cross him.
