Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn share some wild 'True Confessions' with Jimmy Fallon
On Thursday night, we got to see the new stars of HBO's True Detective in action. Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn stopped by The Tonight Show and used their interrogation skills in a game of True Confessions with Jimmy Fallon.
The host had two envelopes for each of the actors and himself. One held a truth, and one held a lie. Each player picked one envelope and read the confession as if it were the truth. Then, it was up to the other two gentlemen to see if the player was telling a fib.
And the game led to some very interesting discoveries.
Farrell was up first with this scenario:
When I was a late teen I got brought in for questioning as a suspect in an attempted murder.
And after some interrogating, that tall glass of water, Vaughn was worried it might be true.
I'm a little nervous to push too hard 'cause we might have a guy who got away with murder.
Which led to Farrell's spot on impression of Robert Durst from HBO's The Jinx.
It really is quite impressive! Check it out around the three minute mark.
This crazy scenario ended up being TRUE! Check out Farrell's explanation of the unfortunate event and see if you can spot the other True Confessions. It's a great way to warmup those sleuth skills before Season 2 of True Detective premieres on Sunday.
