It was a scandal that baffled a nation — the strange, sad saga of Rachel Dolezal.

When Maya Rudolph visited her former Saturday Night Live co-star Seth Myers on Late Night Monday, she described the Tina Fey/Sarah Palin-style redux she's felt since the scandal surfaced last week, getting daily remarks from friends and fans wishing she could play Dolezal on SNL. (It's not gonna happen.)

But, to placate the masses, Rudolph treated Myers to a brief taste of her Dolezal impression, donning a massive afro wig (on top of her regular hair) and refusing to answer Seth's questions about "her" race.
