5 Seconds of Summer rebranded themselves... as dogs?

It's been a ruff morning for 5 Seconds of Summer fans (yeah, we went there). The Australian boy-band has been replaced by a pack of Shiba Inus... or at least that's what their Twitter account implies.

The singers' social media accounts now feature pictures of Doge (not a typo, it's actually spelled that way). The strange adoption of the popular Shiba Inu Tumblr meme has everyone begging the same question:

Why?

The answer: No one really knows.

The singers changed their profile pictures, made bios, wrote tweets -- All the works.

While the band's Instagram and Facebook have yet to go under this dog-gone crazy makeover, the band has posted caption-less Doge photos on both sites. Cryptic much?!
