Jon Hamm crashes Lizzy Caplan's interview to argue over who's better

Lizzy Caplan was having a perfectly ordinary interview with Jimmy Kimmel, until she lay down some ballsy words against Jon Hamm -- who was the first guest on Tuesday night's Jimmy Kimmel Live.

"I'm better than him," she declared. And the gauntlet was thrown.

Jon proceeded to bound from backstage, try to bribe Jimmy with sweets (?) and finally crash Lizzy's interview. They exchanged some fun barbs before Lizzy revealed why she made such a big challenge -- they apparently both starred in a pilot for a WB show in 2005, but after the show was picked up, Jon Hamm was fired. And replaced by a girl. Ouch.

But being first guest on Jimmy Kimmel's show probably makes it even, Lizzy conceded. And hey, there may be an opening for Jon on her show Masters of Sex as a man in a gorilla suit, since he's now out of a job. To be determined whether we'll see Jon Hamm in a sex scene in a gorilla suit.
