Mark Wahlberg thinks Tom Brady has perfect ball inflation in 'Ted 2'

Boston guy Mark Wahlberg makes it clear how he feels about the Deflategate scandal, even in the comedy Ted 2.

Tom Brady shot a classic cameo long before the whole deflated balls fiasco broke during the Super Bowl hoopla. On the bright side, the concept added to the fun in the Ted 2 hilarious sub-plot of a man (Wahlberg) trying to find the perfect human sperm so his bear pal, Ted, can have a baby.

A bawdy Deflategate joke was added to the movie after the scandal broke that even Brady didn't know about. We won't blow it, but you can just imagine based on the Ted 2 trailer that ran during the Super Bowl (it's below).

Wahlberg tells Paste BN about the added joke:
"I didn't get a chance to run it past Tom. But I know what a sense of humor Tom has and how he looks at the whole situation. I haven't spoken to Tom since it all broke."

Director Seth MacFarlane, who also voices Ted, says it was mandatory to add the Deflategate joke. He tells us:
"We added it after-the-fact. That was something we felt the need to address. That would be conspicuously absent if we didn't. And obviously Mark and Ted would be very much on Tom's side."

Clearly, the Boston characters and the Dorchester-born Wahlberg side with Brady in the whole scandal.

Says Wahlberg simply:
"I'm an adamant supporter of Tom, the Patriots and the whole organization."
