Even Obama is bummed about THAT 'Game of Thrones' death

No one took it harder than us when Jon Snow apparently bit the dust, except for maybe President Obama.

The leader of the free world met with Game of Thrones director David Nutter recently, and asked him what we were all wondering: Is Jon Snow really dead?

The director was at Comic-Con this weekend to tell the story:
“Three weeks ago, I was the in the company of the President of the United States. He turned to me, put his hand on my shoulder, and said, ‘You didn’t kill Jon Snow did you?' I said, ‘Jon Snow is deader than dead.'”

Obama, who Nutter called the "number one Game of Thrones fan in the world," was understandably saddened. And our hope that Jon Snow may live to brood another day is slowly diminishing.

“You keep killing off my favorite characters," Obama told Nutter.

Same, Obama. Same.
