Future explains his many reasons for dumping Ciara and they're ... surprising

Ciara's day-to-day ain't bad.

She's booed up with NFL star Russell Wilson, she has an adorable son, she's on tour, she's the new face of Topshop and there seems to be a perpetual "Future who?" smirk on her face.

But, her ex-fiance isn't done with her yet!

He's finally speaking up about their split and what he says may surprise you. In his new docu-series Like I Never Left, he talks about how his quarter-life crisis, career dissatisfaction, distaste for fame and Ciara's pop ambitions doomed them.

His main gripe: he wanted a small wedding.
"I can't have no big wedding on E! News. ... I can't have all these different big media outlets cover my wedding and I'm not comfortable. ... I'm not comfortable about where I'm at in my career. I'm not comfortable about compromising about just being the person that I am, being the man that I am. I feel like my better judgment is to go back and record and make music."
And, he tells Huffington Post that the split had nothing to do with him being unfaithful. He just wanted to make ratchet music and be able to invite his 'hood relatives to the wedding.
