'Alien' director unveils cool new art with Sigourney Weaver back in Ripley mode
It's a good day for sci-fi fans. After we got our first look at the new X-Files, director Neil Blomkamp gave us a peek at the next Alien movie, and it's got a very familiar face in it:
That's right, friends, it's your first (sort of) look at Sigourney Weaver reprising her iconic role as Ripley. The only better thing would have been an actual photo of her, but we'll take what we can get. The drawing also features Michael Biehn as Corporal Hicks, who was a big part of James Cameron’s 1986’s Aliens.
The film is tentatively due to arrive in 2016, and since Blomkamp said it's "going very well," we hope that means we won't have to wait too much longer.
