'Paper Towns' author John Green just underwent Peanuts transformation, now part of the gang

You're a good man, John Green. Even Snoopy thinks so.

The Peanuts gang has passed on this first look of author Green post Peanuts-ization.

After all, happiness is a good book and Green has his share with Paper Towns (film out Friday) and The Fault in Our Stars.

The Peanuts creators at Blue Sky sketched out this homage to Green, officially inducting him into the Peanuts gang.

Green naturally will not join Charlie Brown and company when they hit the big screen on Nov. 6 with The Peanuts Movie.  

The facial scruff is a little Spike-ish, but we're sure Green would go down big in that world.
