Amy Schumer talks gun control —and hanging with J-Law—on Jon Stewart

Did you really think Jon Stewart would waste his last week of shows on politicians? Before Stewart's run on The Daily Show ends Thursday, he's bringing his comedian pals on the show as his final few guests.

And last night, it was Amy Schumer's turn, who shared stories of her new celeb BFF, Jennifer Lawrence.

Stewart also asked Schumer about the tragic July shooting during a screening of Trainwreck, after she announced yesterday she was teaming up with her senator cousin Chuck Schumer on a new gun control initiative.

"What a bummer. I was legit heartbroken — to get that news," Schumer said, before awkwardly joking about seeing all the missed calls the night it happened. "I assumed there was a sex tape of me out or something."

It was a strange moment, which Schumer tried to correct by getting serious with Stewart. "To hear that news, it broke my heart. It was so horrible."
