Luke Bryan just cut an amazing virtual karaoke duet with Jason Derulo
Add this to your list of Things You Never Even Thought You'd Hear: Country singer Luke Bryan showing off his R&B chops by singing Want to Want Me with Jason Derulo. And the second he starts singing in a falsetto that pretty much never shows up on his own records, you'll look at Bryan in a whole new way.
Bryan recorded his part of the song via the Sing! karaoke app, which allows fans to hear what they'd sound like singing with their favorite artist. Bryan, who's the first country artist to partner which Sing! creator Smule, posted his single Kick the Dust Up to the app Friday, the same day he released his Kill the Lights album.
Bryan figured as long as his fans were singing with him, he'd find a song he liked a try out the app himself. Now we're just waiting for some TV show to book the two singers to perform the duet live.
Though it's apparently the first time one superstar artist has sung with another on Sing!, it's not the first time a country act has paired off with Derulo: Keith Urban appears on a track called on Derulo's latest album, Everything Is 4.
