HBO's 'Westworld' teaser will haunt your nightmares
"Have you ever questioned your reality?"
That's the question being posed by a creepy unseen voice in the trailer for HBO's Westworld, which debuted ahead of Sunday night's True Detective finale. It's based on Michael Crichton's 1973 sci-fi western of the same name, and is going to be about "a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the future of sin," according to HBO. If the first teaser is any indication, they've definitely got that "dark osdyssey" thing down.
The show features a pretty stacked cast including Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Rodrigo Santoro and Shannon Woodward, so it's safe to say we'll be checking it out when it hits the network in 2016.
