There was plenty of love for 'Friday' at the 'Straight Outta Compton' premiere

The N.W.A. movie Straight Outta Compton reunites Friday director F. Gary Gray with star Ice Cube, who's a producer on the new movie about himself. Naturally, the two walked the red carpet ahead of the world premiere of their movie in L.A.

And they got some support from a fellow Friday alumnus: "Tiny" Lister, aka Deebo.

But the Friday love didn't stop there: Gray and Cube paid an onscreen homage to their stoner comedy. In Compton, Ice Cube (played by the rapper's son O'Shea Jackson Jr.) reads a script for the "hilarious" Friday, and that's after one character gets to utter the most famous line from the '95 cult classic... We have a feeling you know the quote that had Microsoft Theater erupting in cheers.
