Robin Thicke insists his beggy new track 'Back Together' ISN'T about ex Paula Patton

In case Paula Patton didn't get the message loud and clear from ex-husband Robin Thicke's last album -- subtly titled Paula -- he's back and (seemingly) begging with his new single Back Together.

Or is he?

Thicke tells Good Morning America that the track, which is more raunchy than romantic, isn't really about his failed marriage.
"Actually I didn't write this song so I can't take credit for the meaning. I just heard this idea of getting back together and getting yourself back together, and what I was going through at the time I really really related to that and connected to it. It's more about the theme of getting yourself back together with love and partnership."
Well, alrighty.

So, this was a one-off then?
