Watch: Kion is a chip off the old Pride Rock in 'The Lion King' sequel

Oh, the circle of life!

Since we found out who would be bringing the roars for The Lion King sequel, The Lion Guard, we couldn't wait to catch a glimpse of the movie made for the next generation.

And HAKUNA MATATA the wait is over!

Disney posted this clip to its blog, and gave us a taste of the new Prince of the Jungle. In the preview, Nala and Simba's son, Kion, rocks a red mohawk and seems to have the same sense of mischief as his dad. He's also paired up with a honey badger buddy named Bunga who is a little bit of a bad influence. Someone brief him on the rule about "everything the light touches" stat!

If you think Kion looks sweet and playful just wait till you see what happens when those hyenas come for Bunga.

We cannot wait until The Lion Guard premieres on Disney Channel and Disney Junior in November.
