The Weeknd just buried himself alive in his 'Tell Your Friends' video

The Weeknd, aka Abel Tesfaye, just dropped his video for Tell Your Friends, and it's pretty dark.

In the video, the Canadian singer is digging a grave for someone in a plastic bag. That "someone"? We're pretty sure it's The Weeknd, himself, singing from beneath the plastic about sex, drinking, getting money and doing drugs. You know, the usual.

Then, the Weeknd who dug the other Weeknd's premature grave goes and kills another guy.

The video's a bit disturbing, but the music-- which was produced by Kanye West-- is smooth, soulful and as radio-ready as his recent hits Earned It, The Hills and Can't Feel My Face, as long as every other word gets bleeped.
