Ian McKellen may have gotten kicked out of his New York apartment by Taylor Swift

Welcome to New York, Ian McKellen -- ah wait, never mind. Taylor Swift is taking over your apartment.

Sir Ian McKellen was apparently unceremoniously booted out of the New York apartment he was staying in when Taylor Swift bought the place from right under him. OK, so it wasn't as harsh as that, McKellen told the Gay Star News. It just means, you know, he probably won't get a place on her squad anytime soon. He said:
"When I was living in Peter Jackson’s apartment in New York, Taylor Swift bought it while I was there and I was thrown out before I wanted to leave! That hardly puts me in Taylor Swift’s team, does it?"
But don't worry Taylor fans, McKellen was just joking around. He's not homeless, and he's probably still willing to do spoken-word renditions of Swift's songs. McKellen promised there's no bad blood between the two of them.
"She bought it, she had every right to. I was just lodging there for free! She did ask me to appear with Patrick Stewart at her show in LA, but I had something else to do that night."
Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen and Taylor Swift all on one stage? That would have been a friendship overload that would have blown our minds. Oh well Taylor, guess you can't win everyone.
