James Franco is going to teach a high school film class, because of course he is
Today in things-that-James-Franco-is-doing-that-we-kind-of-assumed-he-was-already-doing, it turns out the actor/director/author/everything else ever is going to be teaching a high school film class. Yup he can add "high school teacher" to his already mile-long resume.
Franco announced the news on his Instagram:
The class, like his book of short stories, will take place in Palo Alto, Ca., and will be open to all local students (grades 9-12). You can apply here, with a 200-word essay about why you want to be in the workshop and a one-minute video created on your phone. If you're one of the lucky few to be picked by Franco and Palo Alto High School journalism teacher Esther Wojcicki (who he's partnering with for the class), you'll get an eight-part education on film by Franco. We assume it will be interesting, to say the least.
