It was the pageant's 95th year! AND Vanessa Williams, who had to hand-in her crown in 1984, received an apology from Sam Haskell, executive chairman and CEO of the Miss America Organization.
Huge deals! But not everyone was jazzed about what came next, mainly those people that the contestants should really want to impress: THE JUDGES!
Maybe they were following strict orders to maintain poker faces, but to us and the Twitterverse, they definitely looked unimpressed.
