Sorry, not sorry: 'Dear Fat People' comedian won't apologize for controversial video
If you thought YouTube comedian Nicole Arbour would feel bad about her controversial "Dear Fat People" video, try again.
She is the epitome of unbothered, which she made more than clear on The View this week.
"That video was made to offend people, just the way I do with all the other videos. It's just satire, I'm just being silly. I'm just having a bit of fun, and that's what we did. The topic was actually voted in, by fans, some of them, who are fat. They're like, 'You can't make fun of some people, and not make fun of me, too."
But, co-host Joy Behar put the brakes on that real fast.
"I'm a comic, so if I'm gonna do a joke about a fat person, I'm gonna say I'm fat first. You're not fat -- that's the problem."
Arbour then explained that she did a video about crazy girls, and she's, like, just so crazy, so that should make things OK.
Mama Joy snapped back with her best chile-please face and we loooooooooooove it.
"You take it on yourself first, and then maybe you can do a joke, but you didn't do that and then you sort of hide behind this, 'Well, it's not healthy.' That's bull, and you know it. You don't care about their health. Come on."
Let. her. know. Joy.
