Amy Poehler snoozes while Julia Louis-Dreyfus thanks her in acceptance speech

While Seth Meyers announced the nominees for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series on Sunday's Emmys, nominee Amy Poehler looked a little like her style inspo for the night was Jay Z when he tried to hide out at that Beyonce concert.

And while Poehler probably won't win a nod for best-dressed with that look, she certainly stole the show while winner Julia Louis-Dreyfus made her acceptance speech for Veep.

"I'd like to honor, also, all the women in this category. I love funny women. I love powerful, funny women, and...AMY, WAKE UP! I love you gals so much."
And this isn't the first time that the two have conspired on an Emmys prank. In Poehler's Yes Please, the comedian says that Louis-Dreyfus called her just two hours before a previous Emmys show to preposition her with a gimmick.
"Julia had the idea that we should hug and "switch speeches" so that the winner read the other woman's speech by mistake. I was so excited about doing the bit that I was hoping I wouldn't win. And I didn't."
Is it too early to look forward to next year?
