Jon Stewart is still hosting 'The Daily Show,' but in his underwear in the living room

Jon Stewart, who picked up yet another Emmy for The Daily Show after stepping down as host after 16 years, has not actually retired.

This is big news. He said so backstage at the Emmys. He is still doing the show... sorta.
"I do a lot of it in my living room. Generally I am in my underwear, yelling at the TV."
But he's stepped down as official pants-wearing host for good, he assured everyone. Not even Donald Trump getting elected President would bring him back.
"No I wouldn't (come back). But I would consider getting in a rocket and going to another planet. Because clearly this planet has gone bonkers."
Stewart, holding onto two Emmy trophies, said he's enjoying retirement.
"If I had known what life was like on the other side, I might have gone sooner. It's awfully out there. You can do whatever you want. On this side you can get a smoothie at 2 pm... I might end up on a boat somewhere floating out to an island."
But he does get a lot of people yelling at him from cars in New York City, where they can be a little rude.
"I get, 'Wow you are a lot shorter and older in person than I thought' And then there is, 'Without make-up you look sick.' I get that a lot. This is New York City and people yell things from cars that they might not yell in other places."
