50 Cent has some beef with Cookie after her 'Empire' diss
Is this our first Empire-turned-IRL-feud?
50 Cent wasn't one of the million-and-one randos who made cameos on Wednesday's Empire premiere, but Cookie did have some choice words for the rapper, calling him "thirsty."
Which, let's be real, isn't a totally false descriptor for a guy who's bankrupt and still can't stop posting pictures of his expensive stuff.
50 caught wind of Empire's diss, and took to his very favorite medium—Instagram—to hilariously respond.
First came a video in a recording studio of 50 addressing Cookie directly (who, let's remember, is a FICTIONAL CHARACTER) saying he's hurt by her comment...before claiming he
"Me and Cookie, we go way back...you know I hit that," he says. Note the hilariously suddenly-darker lighting.
Yeah...Cookie seems a *little* out of your league, Fiddy.
(Warning: contains explicit language)
Then came a meme:
With a Kermit-sipping-tea emoji, which...what now?
And an instant-classic video:
Where 50 assumes the role of Empire's director and instructs his imaginary male actors how to kiss each other, flmed in his car, while he's driving.
Looks like someone's begging for his own Empire cameo. Sorry, Curtis, but Cookie's right—the thirst is too real.
