Nicki Minaj searches for her mini-me

Nicki Minaj is officially producing a TV show about her life for ABC Family, which means something important:

Minaj needs to cast a "young Nicki."

Which should not be confused with "Little Nicky."

Seriously, though, who could possibly embody a mini-"Harajuku Barbie"?

Well, it's definitely someone who can rap, because the actress will be spitting some new, Minaj-penned tunes.

And she needs to look like a preteen.

The Barbz were happy to make suggestions. One that Minaj was particularly fond of?

Actress Amandla Stenberg from Hunger Games earned some high marks (positive emojis) from the singer.

Of course, no casting decisions have yet been made. Minaj hasn't revealed the name of the show, either.

But she did joke that she wanted the theme song of her show to be the first rap she's ever written.

The "cookie rap," if you're unfamiliar, goes:

“Cookie’s the name. Chocolate chip is the flavor/ Suck up my styles like a cherry Life Saver.”
