Please, 'SNL,' give us a sequel to this sketch

Miley Cyrus and Taran Killam are back together on SNL tonight AND House Speaker John Boehner is leaving Congress.

If we hadn't just averted another government shutdown, the scene would be set for them to do a follow-up to their best sketch from her 2013 episode.

If your memory is failing you, they reworked her hit video from the time, We Can't Stop, into We Did Stop (the Government), with Cyrus as Michele Bachmann and Killam showing a LOT of spray-tanned skin as Boehner.

We probably won't get a follow-up (they will probably give us Donald Trump, Kim Davis and the Pope instead) but we can dream.

P.S. That reminds us, where has Michele Bachmann gone? Strike that. We don't want to know. Shut it down.
