Swift adds to her squad, confirms 'SNL's apocalypse theory

In case you didn't realize, Taylor Swift and her squad are taking over the world.

At least, SNL predicted that they would take it over eventually in a sketch from the season premiere, which took place in a post-apocalyptic world where almost everyone was a part of #THESQUAD. What do they do? Well they go on stage with her and, um, walk around a bit and uh, they have American flag beach towels for sure.

And while the SNL sketch was just that, a comedy sketch, it's a little creepy to us that Taylor had a new squad member onstage the very same weekend, in the form of Charli XCX:
