Bryan Cranston wants Marvel to write him a 'nasty' villain role
Bryan Cranston broke bad long ago, but that doesn't mean he's still not looking for the perfect bad guy role.
While he's played the full range of evil as Walter White in Breaking Bad, Cranston really just wants to cut his teeth into a classic supervillain role. Say, in a Marvel movie. Maybe, you know, facing off against the Avengers. He told Metro UK:
"You know what I’d like to do? I’d like to do some big superhero villain in some Marvel classic."
He's not sure what he wants to play exactly, but hopefully he's more in the mood for a Loki-type role than a Thanos role. Because we're not sure we could take even Cranston seriously if he's painted purple. And since no one really knows the whole Marvel villain roster (we can probably count on our fingers the ones we can name off the top of our heads), Cranston has a brilliant solution: Make one just for him.
"(I'd want them to) create one from scratch… I don’t know what I would do but it would be nasty."
Nasty? That sounds terrifying. We like the sound of that.
