Watch the Obamas sing 'Happy Birthday' to Usher
If you're ever granted the honor of performing at the White House, you better hope the date lands on your birthday.
Because if it does, you may be treated to the Commander-in-Chief and family singing to you on your special day.
Usher was in the (White) house last week on October 14 for a taping of the PBS series In Performance at the White House, which brings performers to the East Room of the White House for special sessions. Oct. 14 also happened to be the R&B singer's 37th birthday.
And then this happened:
The singer shared the video to his Facebook page, with this caption that sounds appropriately excited.
So this really happened the other night...... The President and First Lady sang me Happy Birthday at The White House & I got to perform for them. I couldn’t be more grateful for this moment and all of the birthday wishes from everyone. THANK YOU!!!!! #Blessed #OlderWiser
