The first 'Absolutely Fabulous' photo is just that

Edina and Patsy are back, friends.

The first photo from the upcoming movie version of the British sitcom Absolutely Fabulous has hit the Internet, and it is everything we would want and more. It features ennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley reprising their roles as Edina and Patsy, with a bottle of champagne on a yacht because of course they are. And of course this first photo means the film has officially started filming, and the movie is set to hit theaters (or cinemas) in 2016.

Here's the synopsis, according to EW:

“Appropriate for their big screen debut, Edina and Patsy are still oozing glitz and glamour, living the high life they are accustomed to; shopping, drinking and clubbing their way around London’s trendiest hotspots. Blamed for a major incident at an uber fashionable launch party, they become entangled in a media storm and are relentlessly pursued by the paparazzi. Fleeing penniless to the glamorous playground of the super-rich, the French Riviera, they hatch a plan to make their escape permanent and live the high life forever more!”
