Bill Murray, the star of a new Netflix special, has never watched Netflix

Let's be real—the prospect of Bill Murray being a Netflix fan is more surprising than him never having watched the streaming service.

And on Jimmy Kimmel Monday evening, Murray (who showed up in full costume and stage makeup, because obviously) admitted to Kimmel that he's not a Netflix-and-chill kind of guy.

“I’ve never seen Netflix in my life,” he told the host. “I have no idea how to get it. And it’s unfortunate that I’ll never see this show.”

The show he's referring to? That's his Very Murray Christmas special, coming to—you guessed it!—Netflix this December.

We're sure Murray will catch a glimpse or two of the show before it hits the elusive streaming service (which, truly, is astonishingly easy to use). But if he's true to his word, what a shame—it looks totally awesome.
