Trevor Noah recaps his emergency surgery on 'Daily Show'

We all got a little scared when Trevor Noah went to the hospital this week for an emergency appendectomy.

Well, fear not — after getting his appendix removed Wednesday, Noah was back on the Daily Show set Thursday (!) telling stories about his "shortest vacation ever." (Just don't ask him to stand up.)

And as a South African, this was Noah's first experience with the American healthcare system in an emergency room, and he was not a fan.
