Bieber's weekend: A chair flip seen 'round the world and a surprise show

With Justin Bieber's album Purpose just five days away, the singer has done a fantastic job at grabbing our attention. How, you ask?

He performed at international awards shows

Justin Bieber sang What Do U Mean? at the NRJ Awards in Cannes, France.

And, SURPRISE, he had an unannounced performance at BBC Radio 1's Teen Choice Awards (in an interesting, frayed top, we might add) in London, England.

But the thing that had the most people talking was not a planned media move...

He flipped a chair

While in Cannes, Bieber was captured angrily knocking over a chair at a restaurant.

Bieber replied to Perez Hilton's tweet of the video, saying he knocked over the chair, because he just heard some bad personal news.

No matter the reason for the chair move, Bieber's fans seemed to get a kick out of the paparazzi video, and so the chair-flip meme was born. Beliebers tweeted videos to the singer:
