'The Grinder' star Rob Lowe finally made a Grindr ad
Well, this was inevitable.
Wednesday night's Kimmel wasn't the first time that Rob Lowe joked around about the similarities between his new show The Grinder and the infamous "dating" app Grindr, even answering a fan's Grindr-related question in his Reddit AMA last month.
But just to show everyone that he's really in on the joke, he made a fake — and ultimately, pretty funny — ad on Kimmel for Grindr, an app that "lets guys who like watching The Grinder connect with other guys in their area who also like watching The Grinder."
"You just open the app and scroll through hundreds of men who share your passion for bold network comedy," Lowe joked, before swiping through lots of men and telling a stranger that he's DTF.
We just hope the Grindr folks are cutting Lowe a check for all this amazing free publicity.
