Coldplay honors Paris with moving 'Imagine' cover
Friday was supposed to be a big evening for Coldplay; the band was scheduled to preview their new album A Head Full of Dreams live at Los Angeles' Belasco Theater in a live-streamed event for TIDAL.
But as the horrific attacks in Paris unfolded that evening — including a massacre in a concert hall —Coldplay cancelled the livestream and performed a truncated set for the fans in attendance.
In a moving tribute to the attacks' victims, the band opened the evening's show with a new cover of John Lennon's Imagine, which some fans captured on video:
