Melissa McCarthy handles bankruptcy like a 'Boss' in her new flick
Melissa McCarthy stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday and premiered the trailer for her upcoming movie, The Boss. (The trailer begins at about the 47-second mark.)
In the flick, McCarthy starts out as the 47th wealthiest woman in the world, but soon goes away for insider trading and faces bankruptcy.
Her character's look and financial focus in the film give us total Suze Orman vibes, but McCarthy was pretty tight-lipped when Kimmel asked if any real women inspired her role.
"It's a little grouping of, like, three women," McCarthy said.
Kristen Bell plays a single mom in the movie, and McCarthy's hubs in real life, Ben Falcone, also plays a role.
See how McCarthy's character bounces back when The Boss opens on April 8.
