'The Walking Dead' star speaks out about Glenn's fate

Spoiler alert! The following contains spoilers from Sunday's episode of The Walking Dead. Spoilers start below this old photo of Glenn.

Well, friends, for better or worse, Glenn is not dead.

After nearly a month of teasing, of evading the subject and giving us episodes about every character but him, The Walking Dead finally revealed Sunday night that Glenn survived (against truly unbelievable odds) his supposed death and is making his way back to Alexandria, with a little help from Enid.

Fans may have very different feelings about Glenn surviving such an insane scenario, but the actor who plays him, Steven Yeun, is mostly just relieved that it's all out in the open. He appeared via satellite on Sunday's episode of Talking Dead to talk about Glenn's fate. And, all in all, Yeun is glad his character survived, and not just because that means he gets to stay on the show:

"I think it proves that this world still can take that story of the good guy winning sometimes. I like that it’s not always something miserable happening, really accepting the fact that good guys survive. ... You realize in that moment that you have affected a lot of people at once. And that’s something you don’t see a lot anymore. With what’s going on in the world now, it’s nice to have some connection."

So what's he been up to for the past month while fans have been watching his movements the way they watch the length of Kit Harington's hair?

"I have not been out much. I frequent a lot of takeout, and my apartment looks like a hoarder’s house.”

Sounds about right.
