Blake Shelton roasts Luke Bryan over scented candle

When Blake Shelton wants to roast someone, he compares them to scented candles.

Last night's CMT Artists of the Year show was a country music lovefest, but Shelton couldn't help but poke fun at fellow star Luke Bryan when presenting him with the CMT Entertainer of the Year award, bringing one of Bryan's hilarious special-edition Yankee Candles on stage with him.

"Man, I gotta get me some of these candles," Shelton joked, sniffing the one in his hand.

"They smell exactly like Luke. It's like vanilla with a hint of deer urine."

But possibly the best heat of the night came courtesy of Trace Adkins, who had a well-timed jab later in the show about Shelton's not-so-secret relationship with Gwen Stefani.

"There's not a lot that he can't do other than keep his love life private," he joked.
