Amy Schumer on Golden Globe nomination: 'It is more about the revenge'

The best part of being nominated for a Golden Globe? You earn the right to flex a little. Just ask Amy Schumer.

On a phoner with the Today show, co-host Savannah Guthrie asked the Trainwreck star how she felt following her nomination for best actress in a musical/comedy. She also asked if Amy planned on calling any high school exes today.

"It feels so good," Amy responded. "It really feels good and I’m proud of what I accomplished, but yeah, really, it is more about the revenge. You know, I really want to thank the Hollywood Foreign Press, but more than that, there are people that I want to say, ‘No, thank you’ to. How much time do we have left on this show?”

Unfortunately, not enough for Amy to roast anyone. But on a serious note, Amy took to Twitter to express her gratitude for this long-awaited moment.

"Me with my first globe predicting this moment #tbt Holy hell! Thank you Hollywood foreign press!! This is a dream," she wrote.
