It's Taylor Swift's birthday, but she has a gift for you

Today's the day to wish Taylor Swift a happy birthday: the superstar singer turned the big 2-6 on Sunday, marking "the day I begin my 26th year freaking out about stuff," she wrote on Instagram next to an adorable throwback picture of her younger self.

And because she's Taylor and prefers to be the gift giver herself, she also made the announcement that a film about the tour will be released on Apple Music on Dec. 20.

The news comes one day after she officially wrapped up her 1989 world tour, taking to social media to bid it a fond farewell:

As for Swift's girl squad, Gigi Hadid sent out some early birthday wishes to her gal pal on Sunday morning:

"What a year, T! Love you, so proud and grateful to call you my friend. You are beyond. Happy Birthday - can't wait to celebrate soooon," the model wrote on Instagram alongside a video clip of the pair hugging at the MTV Video Music Awards. Swift had the majority of her Bad Blood co-stars -- a.k.a. her girl squad -- in attendance that day to help her accept the award for video of the year.

Selena Gomez also took to Insta to post a happy birthday with to Swift:

"I don't know life without you Taylor. Happy birthday!" wrote Gomez.
