J. Cole turns up with fans at Revenge of the Dreamers bar crawl
Ah, revenge is sweet. Just ask Grammy-nominated rapper J. Cole or any one of his Dreamville artists.
The collective bar-hopped through NYC this weekend, hosting free concerts at DROM, Cake Shop and SOB's. The bar crawl was held in honor of last week's release of Revenge of the Dreamers II, a nine-track project featuring O.G's Bas, Cozz, Omen and Elite, as well as newcomers Ari Lennox and lute.
In traditional Cole fashion, the bar crawl announcement initially flew under the radar — fueled only by subway flyers and later spreading on social media faster than "9-1-1 in white neighborhoods" (to quote Cole).
