Will Smith may run for President, thanks to Donald Trump

With his new movie Concussion, Will Smith tries to fix the NFL. Next up? America.

In an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Smith jokes (kinda) that he may be forced into running for office if the "crazy" political rhetoric of this year's presidential race continues to escalate.

And while Smith doesn't explicitly condemn candidates, his quote about "people" saying "crazy kinds of stuff" about "walls and Muslims" — two trademark issues in Donald Trump's presidential campaign — hints that he's talking Trump.

"If people keep saying all the crazy kinds of stuff they've been saying on the news lately about walls and Muslims, they're going to force me into the political arena," he said. "I mean, I gotta be the President. Come on! What else would I run for?"

Considering Smith passed on helping to save the world again in Independence Day 2, the actor should have more time on his hands to plan that presidential run.
