Keke Palmer on sexuality: 'I'm making the rules for myself'

When the Scream Queens actress debuted a music video in October where she was paired romantically with another woman, it caused a bit of a kerfuffle among fans and media who thought it might be a "coming out" announcement.

But Palmer doesn't have a definitive answer for those who want to know if she's straight or gay or bi. And that's no big deal. She explained to People:

"The video was to represent the young woman today – it's not the traditional woman anymore – and not the specifics of 'Am I gay? Am I straight? Am I bi?' I'm making the rules for myself, and I don't have to be stuck down to one label."
